"Mrs. Dalloway" continued strong last weekend, gaining more than 11
percent and picking up 28 more theaters, as well. There were several
premieres this week, with "Fireworks" and "Taste of Cherry" racking up
the most impressive per sheet numbers, $6,612 and $9,392. Trimark's
"Chairman of the Board" continued its slide, losing 75% of its gross and
pulling in only $233/screen.
In the Other Top 5, New Line's "Mr. Nice Guy" took first place with a
gross of more than $5 mil and a per screen average of over $3,500

stayed firm, losing slightly less than 17% of its take in its 16th week
