"One Night Stand: Creating a Play in a Day," Elisabeth Sperling and Trish Dalton's documentary that presents the Gramercy Theater's 24-hour musical contest in feature-length film form will have a one night only engagement in 400 theaters nationwide thanks ot a deal with NCM Fathom Events, Overnight Musicals and the Broadway League.
The film, which follows stars of stage and screen like Cheyenne Jackson ("30 Rock"), Jesse Tyler Ferguson ("Modern Family"), Tracie Thoms ("Rent"), Richard Kind ("A Serious Man"), and Rachel Dratch ("Saturday Night Live") as they take part in the 24-hour competition, will screen on 400 screens, January 30, 2013, at 7:30PM local time. The film had its World Premiere at the 2011 NewFest, New York's LGBT Film Festival.
