The first collaboration between filmmakers Werner Herzog and David Lynch - a psychological thriller called "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done" - has set its cast. Brad Dourif, Michael Pena and Bill Cobbs will join previously announced cast members Michael Shannon, Chloe Sevigny, Willem Dafoe, Grace Zabriskie and Udo Kier in the film, loosely based on the true story of a San Diego man who experiences a series of mystifying events that lead him to brutally murder his own mother with a sword.
Herzog is directing "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done" from a script he co-wrote with Herbert Golder. Lynch will serve as executive producer. Unified Pictures, the Los Angeles based production, finance and international distribution company is handling international sales with David Lynch's company, Absurda.
Unified Pictures and Absurda are introducing the film to foreign buyers for the first time at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin.
