TIFF TRAILER: Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor Separated by the 2004 Tsunami in 'The Impossible'

Watts in 'The Impossible'

Ahead of its premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival, Summit has dropped the first trailer for their Oscar hopeful "The Impossible," starring Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts, to drum up pre-festival hype. Job done.

Juan Antonio Bayona's disaster drama recounts the true story of a family vacationing in Thailand in 2004, who become seperated when the tsunami roars through their hotel. The trailer promises a tough-going experience, but an emotionally rewarding one with great turns from McGregor and Watts as the heads of the family.

I just burst into tears after watching this trailer, didn't realize it. Everyone rates this film's trailer (so far just have watched its trailer) extremely high.
