TLA Releasing Acquires Queer Palm Winner and Toronto Title "Beauty"

TLA Releasing has acquired U.S. rights to South African drama "Beauty" (aka "Skoonheid"), which will screen in the Toronto International Film Festival's World Contemporary Cinema section.

TLA Releasing has acquired U.S. rights to South African drama "Beauty" (aka "Skoonheid"), which will screen in the Toronto International Film Festival's World Contemporary Cinema section.

Directed by by Oliver Hermanus, "Beauty" tells the story of a married man who is forced to deal with his attraction to other men.

The film premiered at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard sidebar and received the unofficial Queer Palm award.
