TLA Releasing Gets "Poor Boy's Game"

TLA Releasing has acquired all distribution rights in the United Kingdom for "Poor Boy's Game" directed by Clement Virgo. The film, about a young white boxer who upon his release from prison for the brutal beating of a black man, is coached by the victim's father, stars Danny Glover ("Lethal Weapon" series). TLA obtained the film from Canada's Seville Pictures; their Director of Acquisitions, Richard A. Wolf, represented TLA and Anick Poirier, VP of International Sales, negotiated the deal.
