TLA Takes Broadcast and Home Entertainment Rights to "Evilenko"

TLA Releasing has acquired the North American home entertainment and broadcast rights from Blue Star Movies to the Italian-Russian psychological thriller "Evilenko," by Italian director David Grieco (who wrote the book on the story) and starring Malcolm McDowell. The film is a true-life account of A. R. Cikatilo, a serial killer and cannibal in Soviet Russia known as Evilenko who killed more than 50 children over a twenty-year period. TLA will release the film on DVD in the US and Canada in early 2006. [Brian Brooks]
