While the world is anxiously awaiting the release of the new 35mm thriller "Too Late," Indiewire is excited to premiere a brand new featurette from the feature, entitled "The Women of 'Too Late.'" The featurette reveals some new information about the female characters of the film, and includes discussions with Crystal Reed, Vail Bloom, Sydney Tamiia Poitier, Dichen Lachman, Natalie Zea and Joanna Cassidy.
"Too Late" sees John Hawkes as a troubled private investigator who has been hired to find his former flame from years ago. Exclusively filmed in 35mm Techniscope format, "Too Late" is comprised of five 20 minute acts, each one filmed in a single uncut shot. This technique led to the creation of what are believed to be some of the longest and uncut Steadicam shots ever filmed in cinema history.
The noir film will premiere in LA on March 18 and New York on April 1, and then will be released nationwide. You can see a full list of theaters here.
In related news, on Sunday, March 20, the ladies of "Too Late" will be participating in a post-screening Q&A at the Sundance Cinemas Sunset 5.
