With our news stories, reviews and features, Indiewire aims to be part of the indie film conversation -- both on our site as well as on social media (we even got our own Tumblr and you can follow us on Twitter and Facebook). So it only makes sense that we'd occasionally reflect on that conversation and point out voices that are worth paying attention to. We have highlighted various groups worth following on Twitter, including filmmakers, documentary filmmakers and women filmmakers.

Now we plan to pinpoint interesting conversations that took place over the past week on Twitter and highlight worthwhile messages from the indie film community. To be clear, there is no defined system for selecting these tweets. There's no ranking system, no winners, no losers. It's merely a very subjective way of saying that these tweets informed, amused or intrigued us. Check 'em out and then join the conversation.
