Toronto 2012: China's 'Dangerous Liaisons' Goes to Well Go USA

Well Go USA has acquired North American rights to the Mandarin-language "Dangerous Liasons" starring Ziyi Zhang. The Chinese production will have its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival September 10.

Well Go USA has acquired North American rights to the Mandarin-language "Dangerous Liasons" starring Ziyi Zhang. The Chinese production will have its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival September 10. 

Directed by Jin-ho Hur and adapted by Geling Yan from Pierre Choderlos de Laclos' 19th-century novel, the story of love seduction and betrayal is set in Shanghai. Dong-gun Jang and Cecilia Chung also star.

The film had its world premiere at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in Directors' Fortnight.Repping the film for the U.S. are Ying Ye, Managing Director of Easternlight, with Cassian Elwes.
