The 34th Toronto International Film Festival, which starts a month yesterday - September 10, 2009 - has continued to announce its schedule, today setting its free outdoor concerts, Future Projections programme, and inaugural City To City programme.

The free concerts feature performers from George A. Romero, Neil Young, Joan Baez, Jonathan Demme and more, while Future Projections - a city-wide event of moving-image art projects - includes work from major international artists and filmmakers such as Candice Breitz, Don McKellar, Isabella Rossellini, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Jesper Just and Christopher Doyle. City To City - in its first year at the festival showcases Tel Aviv, with the intent is to explore “the evolving urban experience by immersing audiences in the best films from and about a selected city.”
