Turkish Romantic Drama 'Ships' Acquired by IndiePix

"Ships," the debut film by Turkish director Elif Refiğ, has been acquired by IndiePix for both U.S. and international distribution.

"Ships," the debut film from Turkish director Elif Refiğ, has been acquired by IndiePix for both U.S. and international distribution. 

The film, which follows the romance between a young shipyard worker and a graffiti artist, won the FIPRESCI Award and Special Jury Prize at the 2013 European Film Festival. 

IndiePix is planning a limited art house release of "Ships" this fall. In addition, they expect a domestic home entertainment and digital release sometime in early 2015. It will also be offered in select international markets through IndiePix related channels.
