"To tell you the truth," explained Julian L. Goldberger, director of the Sundance Frontier film, "Trans", "When I first found out about Frontier, I was completely honored to be a part of it -- I thought, 'Who wouldn't want to be here?' That to me, is what Sundance was -- just the idea of sharing the program with a film about Brakhage, and Jim Herbert -- I was checking his stuff out in the mid '80s; I was turned onto cinema through his work."
