David Cronenberg's "A History of Violence" won the best picture award from the Online Film Critics Society. The 138-member group presented their 9th annual awards, awarding "Violence" two other awards: best director for Cronenberg and Maria Bello, best supporting actress. Philip Seymour Hoffman won the best actress prize for "Capote," while Reese Witherspoon won best actress for "Walk the Line."
