[Editors Note: Project of the Week is presented in partnership with Blackmagic Design, one of the world's leading innovators and manufacturers of creative video technology.]
The winning filmmaker will become a candidate for January Project of the Month. That winner will receive a Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 12 License and will be in the running for Project of the Year, where the prize will be a Blackmagic URSA Mini 4k camera.
The four projects up for this week's Project of the Week are listed below (with descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers). You can vote at the bottom of the page.
A Woman, A Part: A burned-out actress flees mind-numbing Hollywood to her past artsy life in Brooklyn to reinvent herself. Her return blindsides her old theater friends whose lives she unwittingly changed when she left years earlier.
Girl Knight: Isabel, an odd teenage girl who clanks around in a knights outfit, learns to let her guard down when she falls for Delilah, a goth princess at school.
All Earthly Constraints: A struggling screenwriter named Emily relates to the protagonist of her latest screenplay so much so that when the character becomes a superheroine, Emily finds herself fighting for the fate of the world.
Love's Labour's Lost: Four boarding school boys, distracted by four enchanting exchange students, struggle to keep a vow of chastity in this new adaptation of Shakespeare's bawdy comedy.
Voting will end Monday, January 11 at 5 p.m. ET.
