The lineup for the 51st New York Film Festival was announced last month, but today the film festival officially released the trailer. Set to a pounding soundtrack, the pulse-quickening trailer includes blink-and-you-miss-them peeks at the films unspooling at this year's festival, including Spike Jonze's "Her," Paul Greengrass' "Captain Phillips," Ben Stiller's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," J.C. Chandor's "All Is Lost," Joel & Ethan Coen's "Inside Llewyn Davis," James Gray's "The Immigrant," Sebastián Lelio's "Gloria," Jim Jarmusch's "Only Lovers Left Alive," Alexander Payne's "Nebraska" and Palme d'Or winner Abdellatif Kechiche's "Blue Is The Warmest Color."
The tickets for the festival, which runs from September 27-October 13, are already on sale and we all know they tend to sell out quickly. Good thing the festival just announced additional screenings of "12 Years A Slave" and "Inside Llewyn Davis" to meet the demand. There's also a free NYFF app.
