"Echo Park," by first time director Amanda Marsalis, follows the blossoming relationship between Sophie (Mamie Gummer) and Alex (Tony Okungbowa), residents of the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The romance drama, which brings together a jaded Beverly Hills resident and a British expat, will play as part of the LA Muse section of the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 14.

In this exclusive clip we get an intimate conversation between Sophie and Alex, as they look into the meaning of love. The two clearly have a lot of natural onscreen chemistry so consider us excited to see what "Echo Park" is capable of bringing to the table.

Gummer previously appeared in Steven Soderbergh's "Side Effects" and Okungbowa is best known for his role as the DJ on "The Ellen Show."
