What do you do when your girlfriend gets a bit out of sorts? Play some smooth jazz, of course.

At least that is what Dane DeHaan does to calm down his zombie 'other' in one of two new clips from the indie teen horror-comedy "Life After Beth." It'll satisfy the soul and stop the smashing in a way that traditional apologies, as we see Zack learn in the second clip from the film, might fall short.

Written and directed by Jeff Baena, "Life After Beth" depicts a 'turbulent' relationship: Beth (Aubrey Plaza) dies in a hiking accident and soon after returns to shock her deeply emotional and mourning boyfriend, Zach (DeHaan). The zom-com also heralds an impressive cast, including the likes of Anna Kendrick, Matthew Gray Gubler, John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon, Cheryl Hines and Paul Reiser.

Having premiered at Sundance earlier this year, "Life After Beth" is currently available on DirecTV and will be in limited theaters August 15. Check out both clips below:
