Brad Pitt already played a Nazi killer, albeit a goofy one, in Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds." Now, the famed actor once again finds himself battling soldiers of the 3rd Reich in David Ayer's much-anticipated World War II film "Fury."
Ayer, who directed and wrote the vastly underrated "End of Watch," brings us a film about a small, outnumbered team of American soldiers who attempt to penetrate enemy lines at the close of World War II. In addition to Pitt, the film stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman and Michael Peña.
The trailer looks promising, showcasing much of the violence and tension that gives the film its name. It also helps that the cast, particularly Pitt and Lerman, seem to be at the top of their game.
"Fury" will be released in theaters on November 14, 2014.
