Watch Cate Blanchett Dedicate Her BAFTA Award Speech To Philip Seymour Hoffman

If you didn't get a chance to watch (or didn't have access to) the BBC's telecast of the BAFTA Awards tonight, some clips are already online and the one most worth watching is Cate Blanchett's emotional dedication of her best actress trophy to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

"Phil, your monumental talent, your generosity and your unflinching quest for the truth in both art and life will be missed be not only me and the people in this room and in this industry but the audiences who loved you so dearly," Blanchett said.

I'm very happy for Cate and I'm glad she [playfully] called Hoffman a "bastard". That's pretty much how I felt when I heard the news of his death: "You bastard!" Three young children and a career an actor would kill for... He had so much to lose.

I'm equally as angered by his death as I am saddened by it.
