We can't wait to see "The Unknown Known," Errol Morris' documentary about Donald Rumsfeld, which will make its North American premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

We can't wait to see "The Unknown Known," Errol Morris' documentary about Donald Rumsfeld, which will make its North American premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival. Morris, who has an uncanny ability to get his subjects talking, previously won an Oscar for getting another former Secretary of Defense to talk in "The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara." 

The title for the new film reportedly came from the former Secretary of Defense's comments about "Operation Iraqi Freedom:"

There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- there are things we do not know we don’t know.

Morris talks to Rumsfeld about his career -- everything from his experience as a Congressman in the early 1960s up until the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Check out the clip below:
