The Guest

There is something a little bit creepy about a stranger turning up at your door vowing to take care of you, but this trailer for Adam Wingard's upcoming thriller "The Guest" goes past that speculation and makes it abundantly clear that Dan Stevens' protagonist is not to be trusted. This is a place we have not seen the "Downton Abbey" star go before.

Stevens plays a veteran who greets the family of a friend he lost at war saying that he made a promise to take care of them. As the movie marches on, their relationship becomes more complicated and terrifying as he violently demonstrates what gifts his tour left him with.

Also starring Maika Monroe, Leland Orser, Lance Reddick, Chase Williamson and Brendan Meyer, "The Guest" is being released by Picturehouse this September.
