Amplify's first teaser trailer for the Sundance Special Jury Prize winner "God Help the Girl" is a delicious doozy. Written and directed by Belle and Sebastian lead singer Stuart Murdoch, "God Help the Girl" centers on three friends, played by Emily Browning ("Sucker Punch"), Olly Alexander ("Penny Dreadful") and Hannah Murray ("Game of Thrones"), who decide to form a pop group over the course of a summer.

The bleached color palette, coupled with the meticulous costume and production design, have a Wes Anderson flavor to them; most likely brought over by the film's producer Barry Mendel, who worked with Anderson on "Rushmore" and "The Royal Tenenbaums."

Get wrapped up in this fantastical, pop music fairytale by watching the full teaser trailer below. "God Help the Girl" opens in theaters and will be available for download off iTunes on September 5.
