Director Hal Hartley ("Simple Men," "The Unbelievable Truth" ) brings us "My America," a film that compiles monologues from 21 playwrights about the collective American identity.

The monologues are written by some of America's most renowned playwrights, including Neil LaBute, Danny Hoch, Dan Dietz and Marcus Gardley, and are read by actors including Jefferson Mays and Kathleen Chalfant, plus Hartley regular Thomas Jay Ryan.
