Steven Soderbergh's State of Cinema address at the San Francisco Film Festival has been making waves since audio from the event leaked onto the web yesterday. And today, due to unprecedented demand, the San Francisco Film Society has released the video recording of his speech -- video that was recorded initially only for archival purposes.     Uh, no he doesn't. Sure, he's put out films that didn't work for me, but he's always been willing to take creative risks and try out new ideas.

    I'm personally hoping that Steven decides to start his own studio, keep the company privately owned, share with the creators, and start a distribution chain perhaps partnering with folks like Rooftop Films.
