Just in case you haven't already seen enough promo for Harmony Korine's neon bikini-filled "Spring Breakers," a new clip has surfaced to give you just one more dose before you embark on beach-side shenanigans.
One of the most anticipated films at SXSW, "Spring Breakers" stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine as half-naked college girls who get arrested on their spring break. But no law enforcement can stop the fun there, especially when a gangster, silver-toothed, corn-rowed James Franco arrives to bail the girls out. Although the girls don't know Franco's Alien, an infamous local thug, they jump right into his white convertible with a mere moment of hesitancy, because why not, it's spring break right?
The clip shows the extended version of this first meeting between the girls and Alien in the police station parking lot, which was previously just glimpsed at in the trailer. When the girls ask why he bailed them out, four complete strangers, the Southern-talking Franco creepily replies "I thought you were nice people. Why not." One by one the girls hop into Franco's car, clad with red and gold dollar-sign rims, identical to the one tattooed on his neck. "I'll be your chauffeur," he says. "Ya'll can be Beyonce." The '13 Bonnie(s) and Clyde or just sheer spring break madness, this is going to be one hell of a trip.
"Spring Breakers" opens in New York and LA March 15.
