After successful screenings at Cannes and the Toronto International Film Festival last year, Alice Winocour's sleek and head-spinning thriller "Disorder" is gearing up for a 2016 release. While U.S. distributor Sundance Selects has yet to announce a stateside theatrical release, the film is heading to the UK this March and has just received a truly stunning trailer. The movie stars rising Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts opposite Diane Kruger.
The official synopsis reads: "Following a tour of duty, Special Services soldier Vincent (Schoenaerts) takes a job in security for a wealthy Lebanese businessman and his family. During a lavish party one night, Vincent senses that something is amiss. When his employer is then urgently called away on business, Vincent is left to ensure the safety of his wife Jessie (Kruger) and their child. Suffering from post-traumatic stress, Vincent battles his own paranoia whilst clinging to the certainty that Jessie and her family are in immediate danger, unleashing a hell-bent determination to protect them at all costs."
Sundance Selects will most likely release the thriller sometime this year, but, for now, feast your eyes on the incredible UK trailer above.
