Maria Bamford, a comedian best known for making light of anxiety and family dysfunctions, now brings us "The Program," a Funny or Die web series that focuses on a 12-step program for compulsive debtors.

The show, which looks at a series of debtors and their debts -- student loans, credit cards and owing "a lot of money to Red Lobster" -- stars Bamford along with co-writer and comedian Melinda Hill, plus "The Office's" Oscar Nuñez and SNL alumn Jerry Minor.

In the first episode (below), we're introduced to some of the characters: Bamford plays Peace, a woman who applies for an anxiety-inducing part-time job at a bead store, while Nuñez plays Kevin, a man who tries to make $5,000 a week by having Activia Yogurt wrap his Hyundai.

Check out all the hilarity in the first episode of "The Program" below.
