Earlier today we showed you the first poster for "Kill the Messenger," an upcoming film based on the true experiences of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Gary Webb. Now we have the first full-length trailer for the drama, starring Jeremy Renner, Rosemarie DeWitt, Michael Sheen, Ray Liotta and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

The quick-paced trailer shows a bearded Renner as a high-profile journalist who is investigating the link between the U.S. national government and the crack cocaine epidemic that went on in the 1980s. As he starts to believe that the U.S. is profiting from the drug trade and funding Nicaraguan rebels, bad things start to happen.

Check out the trailer below for the film, directed by Michael Cuesta, and look for it in theaters October 10th.
