Watch: Kaya Scodelario and Jessica Biel Are Quite Creepy in the Trailer for 'The Truth About Emanuel'

Back in January at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, many were calling relative newcomer Kaya Scodelario one of the year's big breakouts. Now the trailer for the ominous thriller that put her on the radar is here to creep you out.

In "The Truth About Emanuel" (formerly titled "Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes"), Scodelario stars as Emanuel, a 17 year old girl whose mother died in childbirth. She becomes infatuated with Linda (Jessica Biel), the young mother living next door who bears an uncanny resemblance to her own deceased mom. But rather than embrace the role of maternal figure for Emanuel, Linda appears to be hiding a mystery of her own. When Emanuel begins to babysit Linda's infant child, both of their secretive worlds begin to unravel.

Directed by Francesca Gregorini, "The Truth About Emanuel" hits VOD on Nov. 26 and begins a limited theatrical run on Jan. 10.

This was EASILY the biggest Sundance Turkey of 2013. Sooo unintentionally funny. Anyone who stayed through the end of the screening... only did so out of morbid curiosity.

    She's "relatively" new.

Effy! She's been around for a while. Not new at all.
