Lea Seydoux and Vincent Cassel star in an adaptation of the classic romance -- this time in French, with really awesome CGI and some pretty showy costumes. "Beauty and the Beast" will have it's French release in a couple of weeks and will also play at the Berlin Film Festival. The film has yet to pick up an international distributor, but should be launched to the public in Berlin.
In this trailer, director Christophe Gans ("Brotherhood of the Wolf") shows us a darker, bolder and bigger budgeted "Beauty and the Beast," a sure way to attract and international audience. Seydoux, in a role so different from her acclaimed turn in last years "Blue is the Warmest Color" stars as the rebellious Belle with Vincent Cassel ("Black Swan") playing her brooding Beast.
