Here's the synopsis: As their first manned mission to Mars concludes, a crew member of Tantalus Base presumes he has made the remarkable discovery of fossilized evidence of bacterial life. Persistent, and unwilling to compromise his potential discovery, he disobeys orders and leaves base to collect further samples. Upon doing so, he is immediately trapped. When his crew members attempt to recover his body, they realize the life form he discovered is not only still alive, but also life threatening. Meanwhile, the crew has their hands tied as they await the help of the relief ship Aurora.
