Watch: A Lyrical, Dialogue-Free Trailer for Hayao Miyazaki's Farewell 'The Wind Rises'

Ahead of its February 21 limited stateside release (it already had an Oscar-qualifying run in New York and Los Angeles that wrapped November 14), Hayao Miyazaki's final animated feature "The Wind Rises" has gotten a U.S. trailer from distributor Touchstone Pictures. The company plans to expand the film's theatrical release on February 28.

The completely dialogue-free trailer relies purely on gorgeous, hand drawn imagery to reel you in. The film, a mix of real-life stories of aircraft designer Jiro Horikoshi and poet Tatsuo Hori, tells a tale of love, war and perseverance. It topped the Japanese box office for nine weeks after opening in July.

Watch trailer below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Do want. Just hope it's not as gut-wrenching as Grave of the Fireflies. I don't think my tear ducts could take it...
