Cohen Media Group had just released the trailer for "My Old Lady." The BBC-produced film, starring Maggie Smith, Kevin Kline and Kristin Scott Thomas, is the directorial debut of playwright and screenwriter Israel Horovitz ("James Dean," "Sunshine") and tells the story of down-on-his luck New Yorker Mathias Gold, who travels to Paris to liquidate a large apartment he has inherited from his estranged father. There he faces off with a mother-daughter duo, Mathilde and Chloe Girard, living in the apartment, as it is a viager -- an ancient French real estate system with complex rules pertaining to its resale -- and they can by contract collect monthly payments from Mathias.
