NBC hosted An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows last night -- in case you're not familiar, James (Jimmy) Burrows is probably best known for directing episodes of "Friends," "Cheers," "Frasier," "Taxi," and "Will & Grace." Over the course of his career, Burrows has directed over 1,000 episodes of television including more recent shows such as "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Bang Theory," and "Mike and Molly."

The clip above features a nice array of the plethora of actors who are forever indebted to him and his talent. Most of us are probably familiar with Burrows' recent resume, but a good handful of the younger generation have probably never seen "Frasier" or "Taxi." For those who haven't, do yourself a favor and take a look at a different era of television, or at the very least, honor Jimmy Burrows.
