Watch: New International Trailer for 'Hitchcock' Goes the Serious Route; Features New Footage (VIDEO)

Boasting new footage and a far more serious tone than the rather light hearted domestic trailer Fox Searchlight released last month, the latest international peek at "Hitchcock" offers the fullest look yet at Anthony Hopkins as the legendary director.

The Oscar-hopeful biopic, which chronicles Hitchcock's time spent making and developing his seminal horror masterpiece "Psycho" under the close watch of his wife and partner Alma Reville (Helen Mirren), premiered as the opening night film of AFI FEST last week to solid buzz. Indiewire's Eric Kohn singled out Hopkin's turn as "brilliantly kooky." The film currently holds a B- average on Criticwire.

"Hitchcock" opens in select theaters on November 23. Watch the international promo below:

That's is really better trailer. It's so bad as "Hitchcock" arrives in Europe only next year.
