Pee-wee Herman is gearing up to return to the big screen for a new adventure in the upcoming Neftlix original film, "Pee-wee's Big Holiday."

Written by its star Paul Reubens and directed by John Lee, the film will make its debut first at the annual South By Southwest Film Festival in mid-March, before becoming available to stream on Netflix beginning March 18.  

The official synopsis reads: "In 'Pee-wee’s Big Holiday,' a fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger inspires Pee-wee Herman to take his first-ever holiday in this epic story of friendship and destiny."

The film also stars Joe Manganiello ("Magic Mike") and Alia Shawkat ("Arrested Development"). Watch the teaser announcement above.
