The topicality of Spike Jonze's Oscar-nominated film "Her" has quickly turned into a much wider conversation about the issue of human existence and its increasing connection to technology. The Creators Project has therefore decided to present "Her: Love in the Modern Age," a short documentary directed by Lance Bangs featuring interviews from the likes of Olivia Wilde, James Murphy and Bret Easton Ellis, among countless other artists, to shed some light on both the film and the themes it depicts.
With questions about what love means today versus the preconceptions derived from simpler times, the video offers insightful yet ultimately ambiguous answers regarding our relationships with one another and their struggle with -- and dependence on -- our relationship with technology.
Spike Jonze's "Her" is a futuristic love story about a lonely man (Joaquin Phoenix) who slowly finds solace and romance through his unusual relationship with an artificially intelligent entity.
