Magnet Releasing has released the red band trailer for the horror anthology film "The ABCs of Death."
Premiering two months ago at the Toronto International Film Festival to their rowdy Midnight Madness crowds, "The ABC's of Death" showcases 26 short films by 26 different directors, each short focusing on a letter of the alphabet and how it connects to some horrific way to die. The project gives several heralded contemporary horror directors from around the world, such as Ti West ("House of the Devil," "The Innkeepers"), Ben Wheatley ("Kill List"), and Jason Eisener ("Hobo with a Shotgun"), the chance to show off their gorror chops. It also expanded the search to a fan contest for the letter T (the winner being Lee Hardcastle for his claymation "T is for Toilet," which can be viewed here in its gory beauty).
The red band trailer unabashedly flaunts its extreme blood, gore, violence and nudity, and certainly looks to be a lot of fun. "The ABCs of Death" will be available on video on demand on January 31st, and will be released theatrically on March 8th. The trailer can be viewed below.
