A trailer has been released for Atom Egoyan's "The Captive."

Ryan Reynolds, sporting a rather bushy beard, stars as a father whose daughter gets abducted from the car when he briefly leaves her alone in the car while running into a store. As the investigation into his daughter's disappearance ramps up, his relationship with his wife, played by Mireille Enos, begins to unravel as she becomes suspicious and blames him. Fast-forward eight years -- Reynolds and Enos' daughter still hasn't been found. Suddenly, however, certain clues emerge suggesting that she still might be alive.
