Watch: Shia LaBeouf Says He's Willing to Go All the Way for Lars von Trier (VIDEO)

Shia LaBeouf, the actor who made his name with the "Transformers" movies, has declared that he's cut ties with the big-budget studio system. So just how serious is he about becoming an art house name? It turns out, very.

While promoting his upcoming release "Lawless" alongside co-star Jessica Chastaine, the star told MTV that he's willing to do anything Lars von Trier asks of him for the Danish auteur's next project, "Nymphomaniac," which will reportedly be shot in softcore and hardcore versions.

"There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we're doing [the sex] for real," LaBeouf says in the video interview. "And anything that is 'illegal' will be shot in blurred images, but other than that, everything is happening."

Charlotte Gainsbourg, Nicole Kidman and Stellan Skarsgård round out the cast for the sure-to-be-controversial project that follows “the erotic life of a woman from the age of zero to the age of 50."

Zentropa film company in Denmark is making these movies. Lars von Trier gets money from that country & the Danish film institute to make these 2 movies and Antichrist, the one where
a woman cuts her cli++oris in the movie.
hey I GUESS SO....apparently Denmark feels the need for more pornography. They must be very proud of the fact they were the very first people to legalize porn. And it's everywhere now.
von Trier will probably do bestiality theme next. That is legal in Denmark, not against the law.
Shia just made a movie with that dane man Mads Mikkelsen. Maybe he told Labeouf to work with Lars.

Yes, but who really wants to see Shia naked and having sex? I like the kid and all but he has the sex appeal of...well, let's just say that he has none. I was happy enough w/Fassbender in Shame, and hell, even Colin Farell and Tommy Lee's sex tapes but Shia? Not so much. This just seems like a project to sensationalize for the sake of it. We have enough porn out there so not sure what the need is for Lars to be doing this. I think Shame was emotionally tough to watch because, while about sex, Michael conveys the pain involved in the characters life so very well. Lars has a good cast, let's just hope they have some humanity or this will be a disaster. Good luck to all involved. We'll see what happens. And Shia, I am ALL for you kicking the studios and going indie...but would rather see a great performance from you...with your clothes on.

Message to Shia: The Hollywood studio system cuts ties with you, not the other way around. Good luck with the Lars and you pretentious porn film career.

This is just hilarious, and thanks for the ironic photo above also. 8) Sounds like le petit really has no ideas about what he's gonna do in this project: just "real sex"...? Hahaha.

I don't know which upsets me more: LaBeouf being this desperate to be taken seriously or what sounds like what will be Lars Von Trier's most misogynist outing yet.
