Watch: New Full-Length Trailer For Oscar-Hopeful 'Les Miserables' Looks Suitably Epic (VIDEO)

'Les Miserables'
With its Christmas wide release date looming, a full trailer for Tom Hooper's take on the beloved musical "Les Miserables" has finally landed and it's a suitably epic-looking affair, boasting new footage and plenty of dramatic belting from the likes of Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried (all of whom sang live on set, during the making the film).

I really loved Tom Hooper's first two movies (The Damned United and The King's Speech), but can't say I'm that impressed by this trailer. Russell Crowe's singing sounds awful and half the film seems to take place in the dark. The score is terrific but the story's relentless bleakness may count against it. Sacha Baron Cohen doing 'Master of the House' should bean absolute showstopper, though.
