It began with a sentence-long art show announcement, and quickly evolved into a graffiti-take over sweeping the streets of New York City.

Armed with a spray paint can, Banksy, the notoriously elusive icon of modern street art, has since October 1st turned a number of walls and the back of one lucky truck into his day-by-day graffiti canvas. Banksy's newest works thus far have ranged from impressively vivid mobile garden displays, to his traditional bold-black life-size images. Yesterday, however, the British street artist unveiled his latest triumph in the form of what at first appears to be little more than a successful rebel rocket attack, only to boomerang back in the most unexpected way.
