The series follows the personal and professional lives of Detectives Linden and Holder, played by Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman respectively. In this season we see the two detectives coping with a grave action they took last season. We also see the two-some take on a new case, the mysterious murder of a seemingly perfect family -- except for a son, who survives a bullet to the head.

The final season stars Tyler Ross as the son, along with Joan Allen, Gregg Henry, Sterling Beaumon and Levi Meaden. Season 4 of "The Killing" will air on Netflix on August 1st.
