With Paul Thomas Anderson's highly anticipated "The Master" all the rage right now following a number of widely reported advance screenings across the country (it opens September 14 shortly after playing in Venice and Toronto), The Weinstein Company have released their final trailer for the drama.

Running a good deal shorter that the first full-length trailer at only over a minute, the latest preview offers a beguilingly strange and haunting peek at the sure-to-be Oscar contender. Opening with Joaquin Phoenix's disillusioned WWII vet Freddie Quellkey drumming loudly on a windowsill, the clip gives way to a troubling speech given by Philip Seymour Hoffman's Lancaster Dodd, a charismatic leader who establishes his own religion in the 1950s, during which he proclaims, "Man is not an animal."
