Going via the normal route of saving the world to directing, Clark Gregg, star of “The Avengers” and TV's “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” (He plays Agent Phil Coulson), has taken a step behind the camera once again. His sophomore directorial effort, “Trust Me”," will be released in cinemas June 6th and Demand on ITunes on May 6th. Here's the first trailer.
The film features a well-equipped cast, including the likes of Saxon Sharbino, Sam Rockwell, Amanda Peet, Molly Shannon, Allison Hanney and William H. Macy. Essentially a Hollywood satire, it tells the story of struggling child actor agent, Howard Hollyway, who discovers an unsigned 14-year-old starlet on the cusp big things. Lydia could be the next ‘teen vampire icon’ and he wants to be there when it happens. The road though isn’t easy, and Howard soon comes to realize he’s a small fish in a big pond that might have bitten off more than it can chew.
