In contrast to Ridley Scott's last project of epic proportions, "Prometheus" (which took place in the future), "Exodus: Gods and Kings" takes us back in time to the days before Christ -- specifically to the moment in time when Moses rose up against Ramses and led more than half a million slaves out of Egypt.

Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton co-star as Moses and Rameses, respectively. Aaron Paul, John Turturro, Ben Kingsley and (of course) Sigourney Weaver round out the rest of the cast.

"Exodus: Gods and Kings" is slated for a wide release on December 12th.
