Watch: Caity Lotz Makes For One Dangerous 'Machine' in Trailer for New Thriller

"The Pact"'s kick-ass heroine Caity Lotz is back, this time a robot in the trailer for Caradog James' sci-fi thriller "The Machine." Below watch the first UK trailer for the film.

The film centers on lead scientist Vincent McCarthy (Toby Stephens), of Britain's Ministry of Defense, who unveils his creation, otherwise known as 'The Machine' -- an android with unparallelled strength and processing skills. When a glitch renders the machine a danger to society, defense forces are forced to protect the world from their very own creation.

Although the film made its U.S. premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, a U.S. release has yet to be announced.

Caity Lotz's performance blew everyone away when it played the closing Night Gala at this years Raindance Film festival in London. The film and Caity have also received well-deserved British Indepednent film Award nominations - winners announced on December 8th. The Machine could well be considered the next Bladerunner. The movies production appears to be a textbook indie production by a very talented production team.
