Watch: "Wes Anderson Centered" Compiles The Most Symmetrical Shots

If you call yourself a Wes Anderson fan, surely you've noticed that the quirky writer-director tends to favor symmetrical compositions. If you've never noticed this, go back and re-watch "Moonrise Kingdom," "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" or any of his other films and it will become obvious to you that Anderson frames his shots in amazingly symmetrical ways.

In this compilation video below, filmmaker Kogonado highlights some of Anderson's most symmetrical shots (h/t Slate).

    Wow, its almost as if he thinks maybe its a good idea to point the camera at the most important thing in the frame!
