Close to five years in the making, "The Grandmasters," Wong Kar Wai's action-packed biopic about Ip Man, the legendary martial arts grand master who trained Bruce Lee, finally has a full-length trailer ahead of its December 18 opening in China. Predictably, the promo's a complete stunner, even without English subtitles.

Boasting gorgeously lensed shots, Hong Kong megastar Tony Leung Chiu Wai in the title role and some poetically gloomy looking weather,  "The Grandmasters" is undeniably a WKW affair, though it does feature something the director's not necessarily known for -- action (and lots of it).

The film's still without a U.S. distributor, but you can expect that to soon change.
